Hello.  My name is Ivana.  I have lived with Timothy & Kristy Hall since October of 2004.  As a seventeen year old heroine addict I was forced into making the choice of abortion.  I am now in my mid-twenties, in love with my savior, Jesus Christ and walking in the freedom that only He can give. 

Timothy and Kristy gave me a copy of the SaveOne workbook in English shortly after I moved in with them.  I never finished it and the truth is I didn’t even try.  About a year later SaveOne was begun in Slovenia and I had no option but to participate in the class. (read more)

What could I have done?! I had just finished school. No life, no experience, no job, -and no interest for one, to be honest. For goodness sake, I was a teenager! I couldn’t possibly be a parent. I can’t put my parents in this situation. I can’t let my life take this sudden turn - forever. I can’t ask my boyfriend to leave school. I can’t provide a place to live. I can’t even think…

Scared beyond explanation, I saw only one solution. And I woulnd’t have to explain a thing. All I needed to do is keep in mind what I needed to do, and avoid thinking at all cost.

It got easy when I went numb. I didn’t take part in the events any more, although they were happening to me; I was more like an observer of my own life. When it was over, and reason activated again, I found a way to drown it. I was surprised by how many ways there are to escape reality… Little did I know that my life was already changed. (read more)
